Flight Complete

Good morning to those who know... Hello beautiful lady. I've been using a Sony DSC-W7 digital camera for about a month now, having started with the photos of the Mercedes Benz, up until today, (although the mine dump photos were taken with a Nikon D70S). Anyway,it's small, light, and you feel you can smuggle it in anywhere (yes, I do this everyday coming into and out of work past the security in the foyer). I don't like the schlep of sign-out forms... It's a 7.2MP camera, uses a Sony memory stick Pro(512MB) in my case, and is a pleasure to use. I went up on to the roof this morning and had a fresh look at what was up there, and has been for quite some time. I think sometimes you don't see something because you're looking for specific 'wow' subjects, and then the next time you're at that location, there's no expectation or pre-defined idea, just you being receptive to whatever is there. That was my small lesson for today :>

Have a good Monday. Hopefully you can lie in a little longer...

JHB Landscape

Hi there. It's 7 minutes past 7 pm here as I type this. My lady is far away and I miss her very much. She knows who she is. I went for a drive out the city CBD this afternoon and headed out on to the highway towards Soweto, from 14th Avenue.

I wanted to take some photographs of the tailings dams/tailings dumps that I've always driven passed while on my way to Alberton/Sasolburg, but could never stop and look at, mainly because of time contraints and traffic issues. I wouldn't mind going back there, but with gumboots on and something to cover my mouth and nose. If I don't I could start glowing in bed at night amongst other things... I hope everyone's had a peaceful Sunday and that you're ready like weasels on Benzedrine for tomorrow :p
